The Indigofera Shirt was inspired by a trip to Vietnam. The fabric and the interior finishing is based on a traditional jacket worn by the men of the Nung Hill tribe of the northern section of the country. All three fabrics used for this piece were hand woven.
The main fabric was dyed with pure indigo extract, some details are stitched on manually. On first glance the piece appears to have a military, uniform like appearance – it's elegant, comfortable, and conventionally manufactured -see Ottawa shirt it has been a A.D.Deertz classic for quite a while.
